Remy Ma Wins 'Woman Of The Year' Award

Remy Ma is having a good year. Her diss tracks targeting Nicki Minaj have been well-received (for the most part, anyway), and she's getting a lot more recognition for her rap skills than she was prior to her stint in jail.
To add another good thing to a list of good things, the experienced battle rapper was recently named Woman of the Year at the 2nd Annual Glitz and Girl Power Awards, Hip Hop Wired reports.
Remy accepted her award in person at a ceremony in Miami, Florida on Sunday, and delivered an empowering speech during her time on stage. (She looked absolutely stunning too. That dress!)
"Every possible thing that you think can go wrong in your life, it happened to me, and I'm still here," Remy said. "All of you have that same opportunity."
Congrats, Remy! Way to keep it positive.

How to Celebrate the Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year, which typically takes place in late winter or early spring, is one of the most important holidays in many parts of the world, especially throughout East Asia. In 2020, people all over the globe will participate in the celebrations from January 25th to February 8th. And while every culture has its own way of celebrating this festive season, most Lunar New Year festivities have a few key things in common, such as eating amazing food, spending time with your family and friends, cleaning the house, and performing other rituals to welcome good fortune into your home. You can also mark the season by wearing festive clothes and decorating your home with traditional symbols, such as lanterns, flowers, and oranges. Clean your home before the new year to “sweep away” bad luck .  Before the start of the new year, take a few days to thoroughly clean out your home. Attend to cleaning chores you might neglect on a day-to-day basis, like washing the windows, swe...

3 Reasons why must african are poor

1. NO INNOVATION. ONE of the strongest reasons America has continued to be an envy, admiration of the whole earth is because of her citizens who are being driven by extra-ordinary passion. In this age and dispensation, the economy alone does not guarantee a nation the tag ''superpower''; rather strongest commerce plus military, global cultural influence, technology, sophisticated science, and lastly INNOVATION. I have never think of any great African in history as been really innovative; they might be freedom fighters, liberators but never pace setters. Talk about inventions there is scarcely any genius of an instrument that this continent has ever contributed to the world, and please do not mention Egypt here, because ancient Egypt was more of a middle East Empire, not African. Look at every aspect of our existence starting from our entertainers, scientists, technocrats, politicians, historians, engineers, politicians, etc you will find no trace of INNOVATION. IT I...
